At Locked by Lula, our gold jewelry is lovingly handcrafted using  14k gold filled beads and durable elastic, ensuring that each piece is not only stunning but  also water-resistant. To keep your treasures looking their best, we recommend avoiding direct contact with harsh chemicals such as bleach, as it can cause the gold filled to darken quicker than anticipated. 

For everyday care, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft cloth to remove any lingering chemicals. When it comes to cleaning, simply use a cloth dampened with warm water. Please remember that once an item darkens, we cannot guarantee its restoration. Regular care is key to preserving the beauty of your jewelry for a lifetime of enjoyment.  

Sterling Silver

Locked by Lula is dedicated to using high-quality materials like Sterling Silver in our designs, allowing you to shower, sweat and swim in style. Over time, exposure to water and harsh chemicals may cause the sterling silver to darken. 

To restore the shine, you can use a mild soap and water solution or a soft polishing cloth (they sell them at Walmart).

Crystal Pearls

At the core of each crystal pearl lies a solid crystal foundation, enveloped in layers of innovative pearlescent "narce." This process results in a flawless, silky-smooth surface that resists cosmetics, chemicals, and perfumes. 

Freshwater Pearls

To maintain the freshwater pearls, gently wipe them with a soft, damp cloth after each wear to remove any oils and dirt. Store them separately in a soft pouch to prevent scratches, and avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as bleach. Avoid soaking pearls at any time.
